Creativity doesn't have to be brilliant. Or earth-shattering.
Release all of that nonsense about making epic art. Deflate the pressure to be awesome.
If that kind of advice is getting in the way of you making something, anything, let it go. It's not helpful, and it's obviously not a nourishing source of inspiration.
All the talk about what you should do? Buh-bye.
All the "this worked for me and I'm successful so do what I did" talk? Unplug from it.
You are resourceful. You have great creative capacity. The next creative step is within your grasp and there's one right after it.
I believe in your creative capacity. I believe in your resourcefulness (which is really what creativity is about, honestly).
Trust your own creative compass. Clear all the outside talk and lean into your own.
Maybe the next step is a small one. Simple. Obvious. It's ok. Keep going. You're only three steps (or fewer) from getting beyond the obvious and into the depths of your creative power.
